Simple formula Help.

I'm looking for help with this simple formula.

B1 = User Choses Month and year from List Drop down in cell
D4= If Month chosen in Jan-09 then multiply C4 by 31, if Feb-09 then by 28 and so on.

So depending on the Month and year chosen I want the formula to calculate the number of days in that month and multiply it with the input in C4.

Any ideas.

One way to find the number of days in a month:

=DATE(YEAR(A1),MONTH(A1)+1,1)-DATE(YEAR(A1),MONTH(A1),1)

Try this

=DAY(DATE(YEAR(A1),MONTH(A1)+1,1)-1)

Thanks for that. I have input the formula you suggested and then referenced that to the cell.
