Hi Everyone,

I rarely ever make graphs but I need to now and so I am stuck. I have dates on one worksheet starting on A5 and going down until A80. then I have prices of one commodity on another worksheet starting on D5:D80 and then another commodity that is on D105:D180.

I would like the date as the X column and the commodities as the Y axis so prices show on bottom.

I cant seem to make this happen. anyone have any steps or clues to help me out.

thanks!

Latigo

Excel Facts

Wildcard in VLOOKUP
Use =VLOOKUP("Apple*" to find apple, Apple, or applesauce
Click on the chart icon, choose a line chart, under the Series tab, click the ADD button, and under the VALUES, browse for D5:D80 of the sheets with the commodity prices. Then click ADD again, and this time browse for the D105:D180.

Then in the section that says Category (X) axis labels, browse for the A5:A80.

Then click finish.
