I am trying to run this simple code and I could not get it to work. Its giving me “”””runtime error, Insert method of range class failed ”””” Can anyone tell me what’s wrong with the code???

<code>Sub Tt_data()
Range("A:A").Insert Shift:=xlRight
Range("F1:F190").Copy.Range("J1").PasteSpecial Paste:=xlValues
Application.CutCopyMode = False
End Sub</code>
All I am trying to do is inserting a column and try to copy cells F1:F120 to J1. I recorded the event and the recorded macro worked fine. The code pasted here is cleaned version of it, but it’s not working. Thanks in advance for the help.

Press Alt+F11 from Windows Excel to open the Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) editor.
I think you've been a bit over enthusiastic! Try

Code:
Sub Tt_data()
Columns("A").Insert Shift:=xlRight
Range("F1:F190").Copy
Range("J1").PasteSpecial Paste:=xlValues
Application.CutCopyMode = False
End Sub
