Hi folks

I just want to write "0800" in a cell but it keeps changing to "800"

How do I do this?

Excel Facts

Excel Can Read to You
Customize Quick Access Toolbar. From All Commands, add Speak Cells or Speak Cells on Enter to QAT. Select cells. Press Speak Cells.
put an apostrophe in front, like so: '0800 (this will be a text entry though).

Hi,
Try Formating the cell as follows

Format / Cells / Custom
Type will probably have defaulted to General, overtype General with 0000

Hope this helps
