Hey all,

I just need a formula that will verify that a unique value in column S is also listed in column A or B. Column S is my master list of codes and my regional codes are listed in columns A and B. I just need a true or false next to my master list verifying that code is also listed in A or B as a regional code.
Thanks,
Randy

Excel Facts

Which came first: VisiCalc or Lotus 1-2-3?
Dan Bricklin and Bob Frankston debuted VisiCalc in 1979 as a Visible Calculator. Lotus 1-2-3 debuted in the early 1980's, from Mitch Kapor.
=IF(COUNTIF($A$17:$B$20,H17)>0,"TRUE","FALSE")

Where A17:B20 is the total range of both columns A and B, and H17 is the value you want to check for.

Or you could split it up and check column A and B seperately
