Slicer Not Available

Hello,

I am using Excel 2010

The Slicer tab is greyed out on my Pivot tables - does anyone know why and what I need to do to correct this?

Is there a shortcut key for strikethrough?
Ctrl+S is used for Save. Ctrl+5 is used for Strikethrough. Why Ctrl+5? When you use hashmarks to count |||| is 4, strike through to mean 5.

Many thanks for that; I have got the issue sorted out. Slicers are wonderful things when they work!
