So I have 4 different slicers set up that filter 6 different pivot tables. The slicers are working great except for one issue that I am hoping is an easy fix.
Each of the pivot tables pulls from the same data source, however, each pivot table shows different information. This information is then pulled forward to the tab that has the slicers and the info is pulling forward like it should. The issue that I am running into is that if a slicer is set to look for only California information, all of the age groups that are available on every pivot table.
For example, if you select you need an installment loan, the formula pulls forward the info from the pivot table on the installment loan tab. Then, using the slicer, you can select what state, income group, and age group you would like to see. When you use the slicer the info that renders is correct, however, if on the installment tab there is only 1 age group range available, but on the Credit card tab there are 3 age groups that are available, the slicer still shows the other groups as options even though they are not options within the pivot table I am looking at.
Is there a way to make sure that only options within certain pivot tables show as available options? I think it will be confusing to people if they see options that look available but are not based on the type of account they selected.
