Pretty new to PowerPivot party, trying to figure out how to do this the best way schematically. Below is an example for simplicity. I want to analyze the number of items by store for each color, and put into a PivotChart by Qtr and Year.

But, I have two managers that look at different combination of stores. Manager 1 looks at Smiths and Cravens. Manager 2 looks at Cravens and Bransons. I'd like to have a Slicer for each Manager's chart where only their stores are indicated when I click on each Manager's slicer. As you can see, the Craven store is shared among the two managers. I probably will have to add more managers as they get hired which also will be analyzing shared stores. Hope this makes sense. Thoughts?

Quarter Year Item Store
1 2013 Red Shoe Smiths
1 2013 Red Shoe Pauls
2 2013 Blue Shoe Smiths
2 2013 Blue Shoe Cravens
2 2013 Purple Shoe Smiths
3 2013 Yellow Shoe Branson
3 2013 Blue Shoe Smiths
3 2013 Red Shoe Cravens

Customize Quick Access Toolbar. From All Commands, add Speak Cells or Speak Cells on Enter to QAT. Select cells. Press Speak Cells.
Unfortunately, this is one of those scenarios where you encounter granularity issues...you have a dataset that is just not as detailed or it can't be more granular. Instead of writing you a LONG paragraph about what's going on and what you could do, I went ahead and simulated this scenario on my own and created this file for you with a simple calculated field.

I've set it up so the behavior of the slicer works as follows: choose one value or you'll get BLANK().

hope this helps!
