Slow and Unsure Why

Hello,

There's a shared workbook with many, many tabs. I created a new table of contents worksheet with many text boxes where you can click a text box with a worksheet name and it will change that sheet from VeryHidden to Visible, select it, and then VeryHide the former Table of Contents sheet so that you're focused on only the sheet you selected.

Then I added a button to the ribbon to do the reverse. Show the Table of Contents and hide the former worksheet you were working on. Pretty simple VBA.

This is a great way to navigate a workbook with so many sheets. Upon comparison, however, some users are reporting that clicking around various sheets now seems to have a lag.

This is odd because I have no selection change macros or anything else that I thought would cause any sort of lag. I've saved this file as a Binary workbook.

What may be causing a lag? I'm not sure and I'd be happy to add any clarification that may be needed.
