Howdy folks -
Looking for some help.
Myself and others in the company are getting "calculating" errors that are long. My new machine has 8GB of RAM and a solid-state drive and I still get the error, it can take 5 seconds, and it will say "Calculating 4 Processors".
To me the spreadsheet doesn't seem particularly big or complicated, so I can't figure out what's the root cause, whether it's something in the excel file or it's the network.
1) Spreadsheet about 300KB. We are often opening versions of this template across the network from servers, sometimes over WAN.
2) No links to other spreadsheets
3) About 45 references in "Name Manager"
4) About 20 tabs
5) The largest tab has about 450 rows. This tab is a table.
6) Lots of sales related formulas, simple markup/percentage stuff
7) Summary tab uses some longer ones like:
=INDIRECT(CONCATENATE(Summary!$A7,"!","$E$2"))
Thoughts? Questions? Any help is appreciated.
