sned excel sheet via email macro?

OK,
I have a spreadsheet I have setup "work request sheet"
I want a person to be able to fill in the sheet, click subit and it emails to the relevant people,

Now I have treid to set a macro for it to email straight from the spreadheet, but the macro doesnt seem to record.....
Am I doing somethign wrong? Does the macro record me clicking on the email button on the tooll bar?

Any suggestions would be very grateful, thanks.
