I am looking for a general solution to calculate the quantity in product structure (BOM), related to the top assembly (Level 0). I have a sample product like this:
Product Level QTY CALC Qty
A 0 1
B .1 2
C ..2 2
D .1 3
E ..2 2
F ...3 1
G .1 1
H ..2 2
I ..2 2
j ...3 3

Every son in this structure must have a qty in Calc-Qty column related and accumulated to the A Item, the answer must give a solution to any BOM..

What did Pito Salas invent?
Pito Salas, working for Lotus, popularized what would become to be pivot tables. It was released as Lotus Improv in 1989.
Hello dniv,

It would be helpful if you would supply not only what the problem looks like, but also what it should end up looking like.

Also, if you put
on the line before your sample data, and
on the line after your sample data... your formatting will be preserved.

As you can see I need a mechanism to fill Calc Qty according to the Level in the Bill of Material
