Hi there, when I open my workbook I always get the question if I would like to activate the macros. Is there a possibility to turn off this question in order to automatically activate my macros?

Excel Facts

How to find 2nd largest value in a column?
MAX finds the largest value. =LARGE(A:A,2) will find the second largest. =SMALL(A:A,3) will find the third smallest
Andy,

In Excel, go to the Tools menu/Options and select the General tab. Uncheck "macro virus protection".

Regards,

Mike

Andy, I would not recommend turning off the enable macro pop-up. Unless you are 100% confident of the content of all excel files you open. It is there for your protection and bypassing it is a virus writers dream come true.

Thx guys,

But I already found the solution for my problem by browsing some archived topics.
I'm using the "ThisWorkbook.IsAddin = True/False" option and it works just fine.
The end users of my application will be forced to enable the macros in order to use the workbook.
Thanx anyway !!
