Hi, I am looking for a way to use Solver for currency conversion.
All together I have 3 currencies in my posession. I want to convert them all into USD. I need to lay out the problem in such a way that Excel can tell me which currency I should convert to before going to USD.
There is the conversion rate and the fee for each conversion.

So for example:
I have JPY.
I can go JPY>>AUD>>USD
or I can go JPY>>EUR>>AUD>>USD

The problem I'm having is that all the models using Solver which I have done use SUMPRODUCT. But the way I see it, currency conversion doesn't work like that.
I have tried shortest route problem, but that does not help since it adds the exchange costs.

Any help would be appriciated.

Format cells as date
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+3 to format cells as date. (Shift 3 is the # sign which sort of looks like a small calendar).
