Some one help if you knowhow to do this...?

I am trying to do the following
I have to sets of data in column 1 and 2
if the data are the same i want delete the data in column 2 but if the data dont much then i want keep both.

example

column1=========column2=========I want it as
140s street==== 125s street==keep both as is
hello============hello=========delete data
in column 2

any one know how to this?

Use an Advanced AutoFilter with a Criteria (eg., =A2=B2) as shown below. Delete the matching rows (4 and 6 in the example below). See the Excel Help topic for "Examples of advanced filter criteria". Especially, note the paragraph entitled, "Conditions created as the result of a formula".
