Some Users Unable to Expand Pivot Table

I have a very unusual problem with Excel 2007:

I distribute a daily report in a pivot table format which is fully collapsed. Users can then expand the pivot table as needed. A couple of weeks ago some users started complaining that they cannot expand the pivot table and get an error message.

I am unable to reproduce this problem on my end. When creating the report both pivot table options "Save Source Data With File" and "Enable Show Details" are checked and I have never seen this problem before. Some users report that they are able to expand the pivot table on their home computers, but not at work...I am puzzled.

Any thoughts what might be causing this behavior for some users but not others?
