Is there a setting in Excel which will allow me to tell it to always automatically update cells? I find that depending on the mood of excel (not the size of the sheet which is open) that it will choose to require me to update cells manually (F9) and other times it will do it automatically.

What am I missing here?

Cheers,
Graeme,
