I am having trouble sorting the following colmn A. I have 3 columns below however they are scrunched together. I'm looking to sort the left column (A) in numerical order for example from 204-100, 204-101, 204-102 and so on.
Because I have some that are 4 digits after the dash I'm getting is the following.

A B C

I have attempted formatting the column and re-sorting?? I have read reformatting does not affect existing data? Does anyone have a suggestion?

P.S. I am assuming that sorting will carry all data on adjacent columns?

Thank you so much for your reply!

Excel Facts

Square and cube roots
The =SQRT(25) is a square root. For a cube root, use =125^(1/3). For a fourth root, use =625^(1/4).
Copy the Numbers to a spare column. Select them all and Replace - with nothing to convert them to real numbers. Then sort all 4 columns on that column.
