I'm trying to avoid using a macro ...

I have a table with 7 columns with a header ...

- Column A contains a header ("Order") (row 1) and the numbers 1 to 60 (rows 2 to 61)
- Column G contains a header ("Surname") (row 1) and surnames (but only in rows 1 to n, with rows n+1 to 61 blank)

I want to sort the table on Column G (A to Z) using the Autofilter, but with the blank rows at the bottom (not at the top) ...

Is this possible NOT using a macro?

Many thanks ...

Excel Facts

Which came first: VisiCalc or Lotus 1-2-3?
Dan Bricklin and Bob Frankston debuted VisiCalc in 1979 as a Visible Calculator. Lotus 1-2-3 debuted in the early 1980's, from Mitch Kapor.
Does col G contain a formula?

In that case it sounds as though the cells are not actually blank, completely empty cells should be sorted at the bottom.

Sorry, I should have said "yes" - I'm reading the surname from another Worksheet

In that case if the formula returns "" for the blank cells, you could change it to return z, or you could use a helper column.
