Sort text ascending ignoring blank cells with formula...

I have two columns with text in various cells.

I would like to form a single column with all the text items from both columns sorted in an ascending order.

Problem I have is the cells in the two columns have a formula in them and many of the cells are blank (with no text) ie I would like to ignore the blank cells with formula.

I am looking for both a formula and VBA solution to this.

Any help would be much appreciated

Regards
