Sorting column numerically

I have a column with an IF statement in each cell. I have a column right next to it with a similar IF statement (comparing current inventory levels vs. defined Min/Max levels). The 2nd IF statement is not allowing me to sort the column numerically, it still says sort Z > A or A > Z. I tried formatting the column to number but that did not fix my problem. I'm sure it is an easy fix, I've just never run across this.

An alternative would be to let us know which rows and columns your data is in, what your formulas are and where you have them.
