I have four columns in which two has the same kind of information (firm names) in mixed order and the other two has information related to the names of the firms. My question is whether it is possible to sort all the information so that the columns with firm names match (in one row I will have the same firm name in two columns)?

I am thankful for all your help and advice.

Hi huhtanis.

Welcome to Board.

This is not a real answer to Your question, but I want to check, that You know, that You can also sort by columns. To check this take DATA -> SORT -> OPTIONS -> Look for Sort Left to Right. Doing this ways You can sort columns.

Hope this helps You.

Regards Sir Vili.
