Sorting files by date modified

Is there a way in VB to sort files by the date modified?
I currently have a macro that searches a folder for .xls files with a certain name, but I would like to know if i can also sort by date modified so that the first file it finds is the latest modified.
any help is appreciated.

VLOOKUP to Left?
Use =VLOOKUP(A2,CHOOSE({1,2},$Z$1:$Z$99,$Y$1:$Y$99),2,False) to lookup Y values to left of Z values.
