Is there a way to sort the fields in a Pivot Table manually?

Currently, the following Column titles are showing up in the the Pivot Table

Excel is sorting the fields based on the numbers in the field name. However, I like to get the Column titles in the following order:

This makes more sense to me than the numerical order Excel is sorting. In addition, there is another field that needs to come either at the beginning or at the end "Due in the Future"

I had a work around but I am told that this work around is not acceptable.

I looked into the manual sort option. It says to use the drag and drop option but I don't get the option to choose my fields. I even checked "YouTube" videos but none of them show how to adjust the fields. They all show how to sort the data in Pivot Table.

I do not know VBA so is there a way this can be done without using a VBA macro? or VBA is the only option I have?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

If you start asking yourself if now is a good time to save your Excel workbook, the answer is Yes
I found a work around so thanks to everyone who looked into this.
