Hello

I have a table with 250 Unit numbers and their respective parameters. The unit numbers look like this A-101, A-203, A-1001, B-103, B-405, B-1105, C-105, C-605, C-1004, L-15, U-12, O-8 etc.

When I try to sort the table by Unit numbers, (First based on the alphabet and then the number), it places A-101, A-1001 above A-203 and similarly for all the alphabets.

Is there a way I can get it to sort in following fashion:

A-101
A-203
A-1001
B-103
B-405
B-1105
C-105
C-605
C-1004
L-15
O-8
U-12

Would appreciate any help in this. Thanks in advance

Will the fill handle fill 1, 2, 3?
Yes! Type 1 in a cell. Hold down Ctrl while you drag the fill handle.
