i set up to workbooks (different excell files) one called labour reports one called costing. I have the total hours in the labour report linked to the costing workbook no problem, my question is how do i get the cells to stay constant with the "job" when sorting. The costing workbook will update the hours when hours are added to a certain "job" on the labour report, but if i sort the labour report "jobs" say from alphabetical to most hours ascending, the costing link wont stay with the "job" it only stays for that cell. Is there a way to make it follow the cell when you sort them? any information or help would be greatly appriciated. thanks.
