How to calculate loan payments in Excel?
Use the PMT function: =PMT(5%/12,60,-25000) is for a $25,000 loan, 5% annual interest, 60 month loan.
you would have to use conditional formating go to the bottom new rules and u should be able to select ur values.

I'm not sure what you mean. Do you mean you want 1, 3, 5, 7, 9... down to 99 at the top of the list, then 2, 4, 6, 8... down to 100 in the bottom half of the list?

If not, can you post a sample of your worksheet and show us what you want it to look like after the sort?

sorry for the late reply savino and ruddles i later gave up using excel but do it manually but it is time consuming and boring.
the school semester is ending and i will like to do it again with excel that is the sorting should look just as ruddles described (1,3,5,7,9,11..............)
(2,4,6,8,10,12...........)

thanks savino, ruddles and anyone viewing this thread
