Hi all,
I have just up graded to 20-21 and when I rotate the text and change the colour of some of the letters it adds spacing.
EG when either horizontal or rotated all text same colout: Current Year CGL
EG when horizontal with some text different colours: Current Year CGL
EG when rotated with some test different colours: Current Year C GL (XL shows a number of spaces where the first letter has had a colour change.)

Just wondering if anyone had come across this issue and if so any information to correct it would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
Dave,

Excel Facts

Last used cell?
Press Ctrl+End to move to what Excel thinks is the last used cell.
I was not aware of that but I can reproduce it (Excel 365). However, it seems related to the Zoom level.
For example, here I have zoom set at 50% and the gap seems very large

But if I set Zoom to 200% on the same sheet then there is no gap at all

Unfortunately I do not have an answer as why it happens or if it can be fixed. :(

Hi Peter,
Thanks for your reply.
At least I now know that zoom is an issue.
I notice that you live in Macksville, stopped at the RSL for lunch recently on our way to Forster.
Lovely part of the country.
Cheers,
Dave.

Hi Peter,
I have not found a solution, but have come up with a work around.
I saved a workbook as XL 97-2003, entered the information and formatting in to it, then copied & pasted to the 2010 workbook and it no longer shows the spacing.
Thanks again for all your assistance and information.
Cheers,
Dave.

Not sure why/how you thought to try that but glad it has worked for you. Thanks for providing the follow-up. (y)
