Specific Text Length Validation

Hi

I have a file where I want the users to enter a three digit number in a certain cell. To avoid mistakes, I want the validation to only allow any three digit number, starting at 000 and ending at 999.

It seemed like a really simple idea but I can't make it work :s

Any suggestions?

You can use data validation to require a whole number between 0 and 999 then set the format of the cells to custom 000.
