Is there anyway to speed up the excel transisiton that takes place when I use Lotus commands? I can do things very fast in Lotus (/rv {end} {r} {enter}{d}) than I can in Excel. So I do it in Lotus keystrokes. Excel very nicely shows me how to do it in Excel but it shows it so slowly.

Any feedback is appreciated!

How to calculate loan payments in Excel?
Use the PMT function: =PMT(5%/12,60,-25000) is for a $25,000 loan, 5% annual interest, 60 month loan.
You will need to get used to the Excel equivalents.

On the keyboard it's Shift+End+Right Ctrl+Insert Down Alt+E S V Enter.

Thanks for the quick reply....I was hoping there was some setting I could change in excel that would speed excel up when it does its transition. That way I could still key in lotus commands and have excel do them quicker.

After using Excel for since 95 for Windows, I'm finally giving up and trying to forget all I ever knew about 123.

I tell you it is tough. I've been so frustrated. Knowing how to do something in 123 and trying to figure how to do it in Excel is not easy.

But times have changed. 123 will probably never get another upgrade, so the only game in town is Excel.

If IBM were to upgrade 123 and port it to Lenix There may be a chance for it. But otherwise it's a dead issue.

Very Sorry
