Split worksheet into two

Is it possible to split the worksheet as follows;

Left hand side columns A to G
Right hand side columns H to O

So you can scroll up and down the left hand or right hand side independently?

If so how would I do that?

Solved: I found the following post at this link which explains how to use 'New Window" under the command menu. Very handy. Excel is a great program.
