Hi,

I have a sports table that has a few teams included. I have a macro that ranks all the teams depending on their win/loss record, then their points %. However, I now want another step to be added. When there are 2 or more teams on the same win/loss record, I want them to be ranked based on their head-to-head record against other teams with the same record. Perhaps have some formula in a hidden column that I can be used to sort.

The head to head table for each team is sitting on another sheet, 3 columns - 1: opponent name, 2: wins against that team, 3: losses against that team.

Not sure if anything can be done. It is all fine when ranking, unless there is a tie with win/loss record, just becomes a flip of a coin as to whether which team is higher.

Excel Facts

When did Power Query debut in Excel?
Although it was an add-in in Excel 2010 & Excel 2013, Power Query became a part of Excel in 2016, in Data, Get & Transform Data.
Copy paste your macro here along with sample data to explain how the macro works and ranks the teams. We can then suggest changes to add the additional step you required based on the data in the second sheet.
