I want to make a sheet and a check sheet. I would like it to work like this (becuase i don't know how to describe it anyother way). On the first sheet is blank. The second spread sheet has these animals listed fish, frog, turkey, cow, pig. Now what i want to happen is that when i'm typing in the first sheet if i type the letter f Fish will show up in the cell i was typing in. If i then type a r (making it fr) frog will fill the cell. Is there anyway i could do this. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

When did Power Query debut in Excel?
Although it was an add-in in Excel 2010 & Excel 2013, Power Query became a part of Excel in 2016, in Data, Get & Transform Data.
Maybe, using VBA, there is a way to do what you want. Otherwise, I don't think it's possible.

However, if you would accept that, typing in the letter f in a cell (say B2) in the first sheet, you will see Fish appear in another cell, say B1, and, adding an r , to get fr in cell B2, you will see Frog appear in cell B1. then, this is not difficult to do.
