I have a spreadsheet that is used to forecast labor hours and right now the hours are spread manually.

Is there a way that I can have a column with the number of hours I want spread, a start date, and a stop date with additonal columns that have months identified and the hours could spread the hours based on a linear forecast using the stop and start date?

An example:

Hours Start Stop Jan-06 Feb-06 Mar-06 Apr-06
100 1/15/2006 2/15/2006 50 50
80 1/15/2006 4/15/2006 20 20 20 20
50 3/15/2006 4/15/2006 25 25

Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
