I'm looking for a way to count how many staff I have in the department during specific times. I want to know how many nurses I have at 0700, 0900, 1100, 1300, 1500, 1700, 1900, 2100, 2300, 0100 and 0300. Is there a formula I could use to do this? Right now I have to manually count and it is quite time consuming. I've attached and ss of one of our staffing sheets. Can anyone help with this?

Excel Facts

How to find 2nd largest value in a column?
MAX finds the largest value. =LARGE(A:A,2) will find the second largest. =SMALL(A:A,3) will find the third smallest
How is the time On formatted ??
Is it an actuall time or simply Text ?
You could use
Excel Formula:
=countif(E2:E10,"700")
A Pivot table might be easier though.
