Hi Guys;
I have a spreadsheet with fields titled "Entry Date". I want the date entries to be made automatically. I've used the functions "=NOW() and "=TODAY()" and they work fine, except when the spreadsheet is opened the following day because the date changes.

For example: The spreadsheet is opened on 6/28/11 and that date is shown in the "Entry Date" field. The next day the spreadsheet is opened and the "Entry Date" field now shows 6/29/11.

Is there a way to lock-in the entry date once the filed is populated?

Thanks,
Brian
