All I would like to do is choose every 39th row, same column each time I click on the macro button. I wrote Range("r[39]c").select which doesn't work. I get a Run-time error '1004' method'range' of object'_Global failed
message. I can't find anything on the searches. I've looked at some unusual posts, because I know there has to be a way to step through a worksheet, but didn't have any luck today.

Thanks in advance

Which lookup functions find a value equal or greater than the lookup value?
MATCH uses -1 to find larger value (lookup table must be sorted ZA). XLOOKUP uses 1 to find values greater and does not need to be sorted.
Thank you for answering my question.

It looks like your code is saying what I want to do, but when I entered it I have a run-time error '424': Object required error.

Could you post what code you have?

What exactly are you trying to achieve?
