Have several worksheets in a staff roster programme what i am trying to do is move data between two of the sheets as follows.

Sheet 1

Roster Key

A B C and so on
fortnight commencing: 08/10/2006 22/10/2006 and so on
Shift 1 Billy Joe
Shift 2 Joe Billy

Sheet 2

Working Roster

Shift Name Sunday Monday
Date Date
(08/10/2006) 09/10/2006
Shift 1 Billy
Shift 2 Joe

The name i input manually is it possible to have it input automatically from sheet Roster Key when date is inputted into Working Roster as brackets. So once date is inputted will take names from that column.

Excel Facts

Copy formula down without changing references
If you have =SUM(F2:F49) in F50; type Alt+' in F51 to copy =SUM(F2:F49) to F51, leaving the formula in edit mode. Change SUM to COUNT.
