in the first sheet do <get external data> and copy this to a second sheet one row below the existing data rows.
on the second day the entries in sheet1 can be deleted and new data can be downloaded and copied to the second sheet at the end
like this go on
getting external data through a query can be done through vba
if inerested send the url from where you get the stock data
and a list of few stock codes(presume the url contains the stock code in their url)
