stock data

i have a dde link and the stocks last trade is updating with in one cell every trade..and i would like excel to record the highest print and lowest print of that cell of the day.. i have tried the max and min functions and when the cell updates both max and min update also.. how can this be done? please help me ..and is there any stock market excell specfic books or resources you can recomend please do or any good stock data ideas please share thanks in advance..Rocky

i download that last change file and for some reason i cant view it ... i see all boxes... isnt there a EZ formula that will do what i am looking for?
