I have a sheet with various cell formatting to help me keep track of different vendors visually. Primarily, I have cells filled with a light blue shade. So I'll have a couple of rows with no fill for one vendor and a few rows with the light blue fill for the next. This alternates for 50 or so vendors. As I type in comments and hit enter for a cell with no fill, Excel changes the cell to match the blue cells. How do I turn this off?

Let me add that this only happens when a cell with no fill is above or below a cell with the blue fill.

Best way to learn Power Query?
Read M is for (Data) Monkey book by Ken Puls and Miguel Escobar. It is the complete guide to Power Query.
Your best bet would probably be to upload your file to a file sharing site and provide a link, so people here can download it and analyze it.
Just let us know which cell we can enter into to see this happening.
And be sure to remove any sensitive data before uploading the file.
