stopping Soapclient escaping characters

Hi all,

Seems Soapclient escapes characters (", <, > ....) is there a way to switch this off?

i.e.

Set client = New SoapClient30
'Init the call
Call client.mssoapinit(URL)
lResult = client.someMethod(data) ' This call will replace the chars

data is string representing XML and it's an issue that these characters are being replaced.

Anyone have any ideas how to solve this?

I used Axis TcpMon to view the soap message being posted
