I have a simple data input form popup on an Excel spreadsheet. After the data is inputted it populates the spreadsheet. I'm trying to get the value to be saved in number format instead of text format. I've tried formatting the Excel spreadsheet, but it always wants to put the value in as text. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Formula for Yesterday
Name Manager, New Name. Yesterday =TODAY()-1. OK. Then, use =YESTERDAY in any cell. Tomorrow could be =TODAY()+1.
Hi rigate,

You say in your origianl post that you have "a simple data input form popup ".

I assumed this to be a VBA code. If it is, my suggestion would go in your code.

I do have VBA code. I don't understand what "a" equals or what the rest of it means. I'm a beginner. :-/

Hi,

If you can paste a copy of your code that takes the input box, I can tell you what to change.
