I was wondering if anyonw knew why I all of a sudden have all these PDF VBA files...and can I get rid of the *.BAK versions?

Excel Facts

When they said...
When they said you are going to "Excel at life", they meant you "will be doing Excel your whole life".
Whoops...that didn't work right. Anyway, I have four (4) files in my VB Editior called respectivly, AcrobatPDFWriter (PDFWriter2.bak...to 4.bak). They appeared after VBA Code Cleaner kicked in last night.

I don't know how, or if, I should get rid of them.

Thanks

Hi Torweb

The PDFMaker is something that's installed on my machine (and was here when I arrived). This converts your files to PDF format -although its something I never use. The *BAK files are Microsoft's backup copies of your files. I usuually have this set to make backup copies in Word and Excel. If I've correctly saved my original file I delete the backups. Sounds as though you've maybe made some PDF files recently and these are backup copies. If you're confident you have original files then it's probably safe to delete the backups.

Hope this helps.

Regards

Glasweigan...

This is a late thank you for your response. I recieved another response, and with yours, was able to clean the problem up. It became quite nasty by the time I eliminated the problem....

Thank you again for your response
