I have an excel file that has a strange marker pointing out a cell.
The strange thing is that this marker only appears on a print (physical or print to PDF) - it doesn't show in Excel itself, not in Normal View, Page Break View or Print Preview.
It's a blue V-shaped marker pointing to a cell.

Did anyone encounter a problem like this before? And more importantly: how can it be removed?

You have shapes on the sheet. Arrows to be specific and when made larger, you can see them on the sheet themself, not just when printed. I'd guess you had one arrow in a cell then just copy/pasted it to create the rest of the table.

The easiest way to get at them (unless you have SelectObjects on your qat) would be to draw any shape on the sheet, select it, then tab, which will jump to the other shapes on your sheet.

Thanks Tracy, I thought it must have been something like that, but I wasn't able to select them somehow (tried hovering over the cell, no response).
I got the file from a colleague whom I was trying to help.
Your tip on the tab to jump to the arrow was great!
