Here is my example:

eb_twoform-2.png

I have the following formulas:

D2 =SUM(B2:C2)
E2 =D2/A2
F2 =SUM(A2-D2)

I am hoping I can combine D2 and E2 by having D2 show this: "£100 (10%)"

Can anyone please help?

Excel Facts

Will the fill handle fill 1, 2, 3?
Yes! Type 1 in a cell. Hold down Ctrl while you drag the fill handle.
If you combine the Formulae in D2 & E2 the result will be text & therefore the formula in F2 will fail.

Do you want something like:

Book6
ABCDEFGH
1
2€ 100.0010%"£100 (10%)"
3
4
5
Sheet1
Cell Formulas
RangeFormula
F2F2=CONCATENATE("""","£",D2," (",TEXT(E2,"0%"),")","""")

Also note that the SUM function in this formula is not necessary:
Excel Formula:
=SUM(A2-D2)
The SUM formula is used to add up the values in a multi-cell range (like your formula in cell D2).
There is no need to use it in F2, just use:
Excel Formula:
=A2-D2

RangeFormula
P4P4=H4+I4+K4+L4+M4
W4W4=SUM(Q4:V4)
X4X4=P4-W4

That is the exact data I have.

I need W4 to show, for example: £399 (10%)
