Hi,

I need help and I am sure I am being stupid but I have a filter on a spreadsheet, which I need to hide all figures which are less that -1 so I want it to show everything -0.9 or more. But whenever I do a filter and I put greater than or equal to or just greater than if never works. It just shows everything even things which are -77 or whatever.

Would really appreciate the help though! This report is doing my head in.

Thanks.

Excel Facts

Control Word Wrap
Press Alt+Enter to move to a new row in a cell. Lets you control where the words wrap.

Would show only -17 and -15

Use Greater Than option for the reverse.

Hi,

Thanks I tried that but it doesn't work. I am trying to do it on a column with a formula in it. I also forgot to mention that its figures are percentages. (See attached) I've put the filter on as greater (because I want to hide anything that is less than -1. But I am still seeing what is meant to be hidden. Its the Actual Margin % that I am trying to filter.

I also forgot to mention that its figures are percentages.
That is very significant since -77% is actually -0.77 so it does fit the filter if you put > -1.
In your Numbers Filter you need to put "is greater than" -0.01 if you want to see values > -1%
