Hi!

The code:

Code:
sub run()
  test (Range("A1:B4"))
end sub

Sub test(testRange As Range)
  testRange.Select
End Sub

The error:
Runtime error '424'
object required

Any hints?

Thanks!

Excel Facts

Move date out one month or year
Use =EDATE(A2,1) for one month later. Use EDATE(A2,12) for one year later.
Hi, I think you need to pass a Range Object :-
Code:
Sub run()
 Dim rng As Range
  Set rng = Range("A1:C4")
    test rng
End Sub

Sub test(testRange As Range)
  testRange.Select
End Sub
Some one else might elaborate further

Remove the parentheses:
Code:
Sub run()
  test Range("A1:B4")
End Sub
Sub test(testRange As Range)
  testRange.Select
End Sub
