Hi All;

I have noticed the last few times that I have started up Excel and tried to open a file, I have gotten a message that reads "subscript out of range".

Sometimes when I click ok, the file will not open and sometimes it will. ???

I am running Windows 2000 and Office 2000

Can someone tell me what that means and if I need to worry about it?

Many thanks in advance!

VLOOKUP to Left?
Use =VLOOKUP(A2,CHOOSE({1,2},$Z$1:$Z$99,$Y$1:$Y$99),2,False) to lookup Y values to left of Z values.
Hmm usually when I see that I am trying to access an array with a number that is larger than the array ubound.
