Hi--

I am getting close with the formula I am using, but need help modifying it. I have the following all in one column, column A.

Athens,GA,USA
Paris, France
Cancun,MX
Rome,Italy
London,United Kingdom

I am using =SUBSTITUTE(RIGHT(A2,SEARCH(",",A2)),"(","") but it isn't giving me exactly what I need. I want to separate into columns. For example, I want Athens in one column, GA in one column, and USA in another column.

Same with the others. I want Paris in one column, and France in another.

Excel Facts

Lock one reference in a formula
Need 1 part of a formula to always point to the same range? use $ signs: $V$2:$Z$99 will always point to V2:Z99, even after copying
so why not use text to column with delimited charater ","? Then you won't need the formula
